LEO-MTS Got Satisfactory Results in Participating the LGC toy physical proficiency testing scheme

LGC toy safety proficiency testing scheme (TOYTEST) Round 49 (March 2012 ) - ASTM F963 - 11 " mechanical and physical properties " option test, was organized by the authority of the notified body LGC (UK Laboratory of the Government Chemist) in the United Kingdom. The primary aim of this scheme is to enable laboratories undertaking the analysis and assessment of toy products by various regulations to monitor and improve the quality of their measurements for a range of analyses. LEO- MTS Toy Physical Laboratory participated in this scheme and got satisfactory results.

In this international proficiency testing scheme, 48 laboratories from around the world participated in the testing of 192 articles of ASTM F963 -11, LEO – MTS which code number is TY0186 also participated in this scheme. The 186 testing results submitted by LEO – MTS were all satisfactory, except 6 results that LGC did not give an assigned value. Only 4 laboratories got satisfactory results in the entire 186 option tests.

Through this international toy safety physical laboratory proficiency testing program, not only the level of detection capability of the LEO- MTS was tested, and it also provided a solid foundation for the CPSC accreditation and CNAS assessment in the future.
