Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Was Published

From July 15, 2019, Regulation (EC) No. 850/2004 Persistent Organic Pollutants has been replaced by Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Comparing to the repealed one, the new POPs regulation has some important changes, including:
1.the modification about the flame retardant requirements;
2.the addition of Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE);
3.the addition of the CAS No. of some Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid and its derivatives;
4.the addition of Pentachlorophenol (PCP) and its salts and esters;
5.forbid the placing of the articles containing PCP and its salts into the market.
