The bill 103 repealed Act respecting stuffing and upholstered and stuffed articles. The Act respecting stuffing and upholstered and stuffed articles has no legal effect from December 9, 2021. This means all upholstered and stuffed articles manufactured and sold in Quebec province are no longer required to have a permit and label in order to sell upholstered and stuffed articles in the province. Now, there are no provinces in Canada which have legislation to regulate the licensing, registration and labelling requirements for upholstered and stuffed articles.
