ISO published the new edition ISO8124-3: 2020

On March 2020, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published a new edition of the standard “ISO8124-3: 2020 Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements” to supersede the previous edition.

The main changes to the previous edition are as follows:
1. Update the definition of paper and paperboard;
2. Divide the previous chapter 6 into two chapters;
3. Two detailed dewaxing method have been introduced to replace the original one;
4. An ICP-OES method for determination of the elements is given in Annex C.
