Two Substances were registered on the Candidate List of SVHC

Because of the respiratory sensitising properties of Benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2 anhydride (trimellitic anhydride) (TMA) (EC No 209-008-0, CAS No 552-30-7) and the toxic for eproduction and endocrine disrupting properties of dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) (EC No 201-545-9, CAS No 84-61-7), these two substances were registered on the candidate list of SVHC by ECHA in April 2018. Then, there are 183 substances in total on the official list.

Producers and exporters of articles containing any substances on the candidate list should notify ECHA, once they meet both of the following prerequisites.

— the total quantity of any SVHC substance present in the articles is over one ton per producer or exporter per year, and

— the concentration of any substance present in the articles is above 0.1% by weight.
