The amendment on Lead Limits of Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC

On April 27, 2017, Directive (EU) 2017/738 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, amending Annex II of the Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC) as regards Lead limit. The new Directive strengthens the lead migration limits under point 13 of part III of Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC. The amendment will become effective on October 28, 2018.
